33 Things To Be Thankful For

We often forget to stop and give thanks for things we tend to take for granted. My List of Things I Am Thankful For

  • Being forced against my will to wake up at 530am every single morning for over 3 years straight, and counting – It means I have children to love
  • A disaster of a house that never, in any moment in time, is actually clean – It means I have a roof over my head
  • My two boys high pitched screams because of a fight over a favorite toy (all day long!) – It means I can hear
  •  After a mentally exhausting day with the kids, when all I want to do is sit alone and do my own thing, being asked, “Want to watch a movie with me?” – It means I have a partner who loves me
  • The noise…all the nonstop ear piercing NOISE in my house – It means my kids are happy and having fun
  • Grocery shopping (ugh!)It means I have money
  • Getting woken from a phone call in the middle of the night from a friend in need – It means I have friends
  • Being a human jungle gym by kids ALL. DAY. LONG. – It means I have kids who love me
  • The mounds of laundry I have yet to fold…and will probably never fold – It means I have a family
  • Seeing nothing but political talk on my Facebook feed – It means we have freedom of speech

Some more things I am thankful for…

  • Alone time
  • Non-Alone time
  • Facebook groups (I don’t know how I would be surviving without my virtual Facebook friends!)

I absolutely love this post, I am very thankful that my family and I have a home! A year and a half ago we were homeless for 4 months due to my husband’s complications with his diabetes! It was a scary time of our lives,we still struggle but we have so much to be thankful for!

There is so much we take for granted until it’s gone! Hugs to you and your family.
